记解决 Unable to start Intel Extreme Tuning Utility 问题的过程.

Intro

最近在折腾电脑时, 突发奇想去Intel官网升级了下XTU, 结果发现降压功能不能用了, 一顿操作卸载安装旧版后突发报错.
Unable to start Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. If there is another performance tuning application running, you must close it before trying to start this application.

解决方法

首先, 查看日志 C:\ProgramData\Intel\Intel Extreme Tuning Utility\Logs

发现日志中有如下内容

2021/02/26-18:48:16.4012|!ERR] XTU Service not located
2021/02/26-18:48:16.4081|!ERR] Could not find a PerfTuneService instance

大致猜测原因为XTU服务未运行, 根据Intel官网的卸载解决方案得出重新安装服务的方法。

以管理员身份打开命令提示符，执行下列指令重新安装服务。

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe /i C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility\Drivers\XtuService.exe

执行后重新运行XTU, 问题解决.
